They are the proteges of Batman, Superman, Aquaman, the Flash, and many more. But they're also not equal partners. They're the juniors. The sidekicks.
To show their mentors that they're more than just kids, they're going to have to prove it. That even though they may be young, they still have a lot of offer. Welcome to Saving the World 101.

Young Justice is an American produced action-adventure superhero animated cartoon TV series with Jesse McCartney, Nolan North, Danica McKellar contributing as the primary voice actors. The series focuses on the titular younger set of superheroes of the popular DC Comics and was critically acclaimed by both audiences and critics alike and won several awards during its series run and launched a video game and a comic book series based on the TV series. The series was retitled as Young Justice: Invasion during its second season's story arc.
However, a large portion of the funding for production was derived from Mattel which was producing a toyline based on the TV series. Poor sales caused the company to pull the toyline and thus the funding for the TV series resulting its cancellation despite numerous petitions from fans after two seasons.
After numerous years of continued pleas by fans however to revive the series; a third season, Young Justice: Outsiders was released with a number of former cast members returning to reprise their characters as part of DC Comics' new digital service, DC Universe in 2019. A fourth season is set to debut on HBO Max.
Dick Grayson is the original protege of Gotham City's Dark Knight himself and created the masked identity of Robin the Boy Wonder. He is now better known as Nightwing as he forges his own path yet still fighting for justice like his mentor. Using nothing but his incredible acrobatic skills as well as the peerless fighting and weapons techniques taught to him by the Batman, he often leads the Team in the field. He is voice acted by Jesse McCartney.
The somber apprentice to the Sovereign of the Seven Seas, the redoubtable Aquaman; Kaldur'ahm struggles to find balance between his duties to his King and his friends on the surface world. He is an Atlantean who is a powerful hydrokinetic, possessing the ability to manipulate water. In the end however, he is devastated by the death of the girl he loved which he blames his long time friends for; along with the hidden secret of his parentage that Aquaman kept from him, resulting in him turning against his former friends and associates and joining his father ... the sinister enemy of Atlantis, Black Manta. He is voice acted by Khary Payton.
The headstrong Wally West lives up to his namesake as Kid Flash as the immature speedster with a tendency to act or speak before thinking. And considering that he is capable of running at supersonic speeds; it's hard for his loyal friends to try to keep up with him and keep him out of trouble. He is voice acted by Jason Spisak.
A clone of Superman created by Project Cadmus; he was intended to be a weapon and a failsafe should the Man of Steel ever go rogue. Freed by Nightwing, Aqualad, and Kid Flash; he promptly joined them to become a member of the Team in his hopes to live up to the legacy of heroism that he has inherited. He is voice acted by Nolan North.
The niece to the Martian Manhunter, she secretly stowed away on his ship to visit the planet Earth that she heard so much about and desperately wanted to see. Possessing the standard Martian powers of shapeshifting and telepathy, she quickly becomes enamored with Superboy. She is voice acted by Danica McKellar.
An expert archer who claims to be the niece of Green Arrow. In truth, she is secretly the daughter of supervillains, Sportsmaster and Tigress and wishes to make up for her parents' villainous legacy. She is voice acted by Stephanie Lemelin.
