Trivia[]
- Rebecca Romijin-Stamos had to undergo 9 hours of make-up every time she was shot as the blue-skinned Mystique as it consisted of over 110 custom designed prosthesis that had to be applied to her body and covered approximately 60 percent of it. Furthermore, the prosthetics were unforgiving in their application to her skin; she could not drink wine, use skin creams, or even fly the day before filming because they would have changed the composition of her skin chemistry slightly and would cause the prosthesis to lose adhesion and fall off.
- There were 3 different kinds of Wolverine's retractable metal claws used during the shooting process; plastic, rubber, and steel for various shots. Between Hugh Jackman and his four alternate stunt doubles, they had to use over 700 such claws.
