Wil Wheaton ( b. 29 July 1972 ) is an American actor, TV host, writer, producer, and blogger. He has appeared in live action television and cinematic roles; and voice acting performances and narration.
Wheaton is perhaps best known for his childhood role in the 1986 coming-of-age film Stand by Me as well as serving the teenage prodigy Wesley Crusher, one of the primary cast members for the first few seasons aboard Star Trek: The Next Generation TV series. Wheaton has continued to reprise his role as Wesley Crusher in various guest appearances over the decades as well as a supporting cast member of the Star Trek Franchise.
