The late Warner Oland ( b. 3 October 1879 - d. 6 August 1938) was a Swedish-American actor. He is best remembered for portraying several Chinese and Chinese-American characters including Dr. Fu Manchu, Henry Chang in Shanghai Express and Charlie Chan. Oland played Chan in 16 films.
