Thunderheart is a 1992 American Neo-Western-themed mystery film, directed by Michael Apted from a screenplay written by John Fusco. The film stars Val Kilmer, Sam Shepard, Graham Greene, and Fred Ward. It was distributed by TriStar Pictures and released on 3 April 1992.

An FBI agent with a Sioux background is sent to a reservation for an investigation. As he overcomes the tactics of his fellow agents and gets attuned to his heritage, he gains the trust of the locals.
