For 150 years, humanity has explored the depths of space, content and safe that they were alone. Then in 2063, humanity discovered to their horror that they weren't.
Their worlds have come under attack from an advanced alien species dubbed "The Chigs". To combat this unstoppable threat, Earth's military forces have been forced to push anything and everyone into the furnace of war. This includes the untried, untested, and half-trained cadets of the "Wild Cards", the 58th Squadron of the United States Marine Corps Space Calvary as they put their lives and everything else on the line against the Chigs.
For these Wild Cards, they know that in the end ... that to lose means never going home and that this war will demand more, demand that they push themselves above and beyond if humanity is to survive.
Created and written by Glen Morgan and James Wong, Space: Above and Beyond was a short-lived American science fiction/military television series. It was cancelled after a single season due to lackluster ratings and leaving behind several unfinished plotlines and most of the cast's fate missing or presumed dead.
