Background[]
The Schwartz is a metaphysical power that is a homage/parody of the Force from the Star Wars Franchise and originates in Mel Brooks’ screwball comedy film Spaceballs. Although officially it is a surname that means "dark" or "black" in Yiddish, it is often considered slang for a male's gentialia. (But I'm positive that Mel Brooks definitely did not intend to do that... really!)
Called 'a greater magic'; the Schwartz is a power that ties all living things in the universe together and incidentally can be channeled through rings found in Cracker Jack boxes. However it has been proven that the Schwartz Rings are merely a tool and that it is possible for a wielder with a strong enough connection to the Schwartz and belief in themselves do not actually need it.
The Ring of the Schwartz
Via the Schwartz, one could manipulate and move objects and energy even to the point where a potent wielder could discharge energy blasts or create energy blades. It was also possible to project their images and voice over interstellar distances or alternatively, disguise overlay one’s features with a cunning illusion.
It is claimed that there are two different sides to the Schwartz; an “upside” and a “downside”. The current keeper of the “upside” is a mysterious wise hermit on the moon of Vega known as Yogurt while the most prominent wielder of the “downside” is the notorious Dark Helmet.
Schwartz also comes in a liquidified state which can be used in hyperjets to boost their performance beyond their ordinary capabilities.
