Ryan Reynolds ( b. 23 October 1976 ) is a Canadian actor, producer, businessman, and philanthropist. He has appeared in live action television and cinematic roles; and voice acting performances.
Reynolds is best known for performing largely in comedic roles but was catapulted into international stardom for his repeated performances as the irreverent Merc with Mouth Deadpool in the X-Men Franchise. He is also mockingly remembered for his role as test pilot Hal Jordan in the 2011 box-office bomb Green Lantern by comic book fans and Reynolds himself.
