Overview[]
Padmé Amidala was a former Queen and later Senator from the planet of Naboo. Over the course of the prequels, she falls in love and marries, the Jedi known as Anakin Skywalker, which was a major violation of the Jedi Code. In doing so, she inadvertently precipitated his downfall, becoming the Sith Lord known as Darth Vader. She is also the mother of Luke Skywalker and his twin sister, Leia Organa.
First appearing in the 1999 film Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace by Natalie Portman who would go on to reprise her role in the next two films in the prequel trilogy, the 2002 Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and the 2005 Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith respectively.
Padmé Amidala also appeared in the 2003 Star Wars: Clone Wars animated TV series and was voice acted by Grey DeLisle. Catherine Taber handled her portrayal in the 2008 animated feature film Star Wars: The Clone Wars and its subsequent TV series, Star Wars: Clone Wars.

Padme was a beautiful young woman with long dark brown hair and light brown eyes. She was in peak condition from a young age, attested by her high stamina and her washboard abs. Padme was 164-165 cm tall.
