Cage is well known for being an incredibly versatile actor; appearing in various genres from comedy, romance, drama, and action and earning a well deserved reputation for his eccentricity and personal quirkiness.

- Is a huge comic book fan. He was inspired to take on his stage name of "Cage" from the Marvel Comics' character of Power Man aka Luke Cage and once owned Action Comics #1; published in 1939 which is the first featured appearance of Superman. He also named one of his sons, Kal-El which is the birth name of Superman.
