Lucy Lawless ( b. 29 March 1968 ) is a New Zealand actress and musician. She has appeared in live action stage theater, television, and cinematic roles; and voice acting performances.
Lawless is a worldwide action star and icon for her extended role as the redemption seeking Xena, the titular lead character from the Emmy-Award winning Xena: Warrior Princess TV series. She is also well known for her role as the duplicitous Human-Cylon Infiltrator D'Anna Biers (Number Three) on the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica TV series.
She has also made memorable performances in Sparactus and My Life Is Murder.
