Overview[]
There are librarians ... and there is The Librarian: the head of a secret prestigious order of protectors and scholars who seek out dangerous artifacts, hazardous relics, and deadly secrets in the world and entrust them to the Library for safekeeping. For this generation, that Librarian is Flynn Carsen.
But when the Library itself is lost, only the Librarian can find it. But if Flynn is searching for the Library, there is no one who can carry out of his duties to protect humanity. Or is there?
They are the Librarians who almost were. Candidates who had the drive, the wit, and the determination save for some small event or incident that resulted in them being passed on. The brilliant genius whose family needed him to work as a common day laborer to put food on the table. The mathematics prodigy who has a growing brain tumor that will someday kill her. The expert technologist who is a charming thief.
They were among those few chosen and now, the only ones left. But they are better than nothing. But will that be enough to protect the world from the magical chaos being unleashed?
The Librarians was an American produced adventure-fantasy cable TV series starring Rebecca Romijn, Christian Kane, Lindy Booth, John Kim, and John Larroquette. It was a spin-off TV series of The Librarian film series franchise starring Noah Wyle who was a recurring guest star in the series.
