In the 31st Century, the universe is protected by the Legion of Super Heroes: young heroes from hundreds of worlds who have all been inspired by the example set by the greatest hero of them all: Superman!
But when disaster strikes, the Legion has no one to turn to. Except their legendary hero for aid. In desperation, they do the unthinkable by time traveling to the 20th Century to beg for his assistance.
But they are in for a rude shock when they find their hero is not quite what they were expecting. For when the Legion arrives, they discover that teenager Clark Kent has yet to even assume the identity of Superman and is even more unsure of himself or what to do with his strange powers.
But it may just be what the Legion needs as they find themselves showing their inspiration on how to become the Legend that he is destined to be...
Legion of Super-Heroes was a short-lived American produced superhero animated cartoon TV series with Michael Cornacchia, Shawn Harrison, Heather Hogan, Yuri Lowenthal, Andy Milder, Alex Polinsky, Kari Wahlgren, and Adam Wylie contributing as the primary voice actors. Although a third season was planned, the series was abruptly cancelled by the sudden shift to the Kids WB Network to the 4Kids Entertainment programming block.
