When the alien conquerors known as the Imperium invade the planet Earth, not even the World's Greatest Heroes could stop them. Against this single threat, this group of disparate and fiercely independent loners found that not even raw power, unequaled cunning, blinding speed, and unbreakable will were enough.
In the end ... it took all of them fighting together as one to vanquish the Imperium. And on that day; the forces of evil, chaos, and destruction inadvertently created one unbeatable league of justice.

Justice League was a long-running American produced action-adventure superhero animated cartoon TV series with Maria Canals, Kevin Conroy, Susan Eisenberg, Phil LaMarr, Carl Lumbly, George Newbern, and Michael Rosenbaum contributing as the primary voice actors.
It was an adaptation of the popular Justice League Franchise; the flagship superhero team of the DC Comics Universe and the culmination of a decade of groundwork laid out by a variety of animated television series and movies involving Batman: The Animated Series, Batman Beyond, and Superman: The Animated Series among others into creating what would be later called the DC Animated Universe Franchise or the DCAU.
The Justice League was a hugely popular cartoon series and received numerous accolades during its original series run. Following two highly rated and successful seasons, a big-budget animated film based on the Justice League was heavily considered to be created and was intended to serve as a bridge between the original League and a vastly expanded roster of heroes which was retitled as Justice League Unlimited. However, these plans were scrapped although much of the story notes and plot was recycled for the 2010 direct-to-video Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths.
