Overview[]
Plot[]
Batman finds Royal Flush Gang trying rob a vault of diamond, and he alerts the Justice League. He heads in first to scope out the situation, but he gets attacked by Jack. Superman and the gang arrive, and a fight ensues. Cyborg stops King from fleeing and informs them about them using a high tech device, an extra dimensional device to pass through walls, to rob the vault which is not in their usual M.O.
Elsewhere, Vandal Savage invites a group of villains and promises them wealth in exchange for them to take out the Justice League using his plans. In a series of separate attacks: Bane ambushes Bruce Wayne by stealing his parents' caskets, Flash walks into Mirror Master's bomb trap aboard a train, Ma'alefa'ak drugs Martian Manhunter, Cheetah fights Wonder Woman directly, Green Lantern saves hostages in a salt mine which is a trap by Star Sapphire, and Superman tries to save Henry from committing suicide whom turns out to be Metallo.
With the defeat of the Justice League, the Legion of Doom celebrate. When one of them asks Vandal about his new plan, Vandal shares his backstory and how he will destroy half of the world and lead the other half under his rule by lending them food and security.
While Wayne digs himself out of the Bane's grave, Cyborg rushes to help Wonder Woman get back to normal. When Alfred informs Bruce about Superman, Bruce calls everyone and realize the Justice League is under attack by his own tactics. He calls Wonder Woman to administer a shot of Aluminum Oxide to Martian Manhunter. Bruce advises Flash to vibrate through an iceberg to take away the bolted wrist bomb. After Batman talks Green Lantern out of it and reveals it's androids with Scarecrow's fear toxin, he instructs Cyborg to make an excision using beam filtered through Kryptonite while Martian Manhunter takes out the Kryptonite Bullet.
Both Justice League along with Cyborg's help attack Vandal Savage and Legion of Doom. Vandal manages to send the missiles that will bomb the sun to cause a chain reaction of sunflare to wipe out half of the planet. Cyborg finds out the Doom headquarters can make itself intangible. While Hal buys time by blocking the solar flare, the league moves out to make the whole earth intangible. Superman lifts the Doom Headquarters, so Martian Manhunter can connect it with tubes from the Watch Tower. The Justice League manages to save the Earth.
Afterwards, Superman holds a meeting to announce Cyborg is accepted unanimously into the league and to hold a vote to allow or not allow Batman in the Justice League due to the breach of trust. Batman refuses and leaves the league himself. Superman chats with Batman and asks what is contingency of stopping Batman as well giving him a piece of Kryptonite. Batman replies it's the Justice League.
