Jack Black ( b. 28 August 1969 ) is an American comedian, musician, and actor. He has appeared in live action stage theater, television, and cinematic roles; and voice acting performances. He is also the lead singer and guitarist of his own rock/comedy band "Tenacious D".
Black is known for his performances in School of Rock; King Kong; Nacho Libre; Bernie; Goosebumps; Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle; Jumanji: The Next Level; and The House with a Clock in Its Walls.
However he is most famous for his extended role as the voice actor of the anthropomorphic panda Po; the goofy martial arts fanatic and of the main protagonist of the hugely popular Kung Fu Panda Franchise as well as the violent prone and hopelessly infatuated Bowser in The Super Mario Bros. Movie.
