Happily married British couple, Sean and Besty Lincoln are the newest hot commodity with their BAFTA-award winning sitcom which sleazy Hollywood producer, Merc Lapidus is sure will be a huge hit in the US ... providing that the Lincolns do some small adaptations first. The duo agree but find out belatedly that Hollywood is much more glitzier and glamorous than expected and their sitcom is quickly becoming twisted beyond all recognition with the demands of the networks and their once-happy marriage is crumbling with the sitcom's new star, Matt LeBlanc's personal life invading their own.
Episodes was an American and British co-produced comedy TV series starring Tamsin Greig, Stephen Mangan, John Pankow, and Matt LeBlanc who starred as a fictionalized version of himself. The series was relatively well received by most critics but failed to attract audiences even though it did receive several awards with LeBlanc winning a Golden Globe for his performance.

Plot Summary[]
Season 1[]
British sitcom writers Sean and Beverly Lincoln are at first thrilled to learnt that their sitcom is to be remade in America. Until they discover Matt LeBlanc has been cast in the lead role.
Season 2[]
Season 2 picks up four months after the end of the first. Sean and Beverly's marriage has been ripped apart by Beverly's fling with Matt. But as their sitcom premieres in the US, they're forced to find a way to continue working together.
Season 3[]
Episodes returns as the trio continue to ruffle each others' feathers in LA.
Season 4[]
A fourth series sees Beverly and Sean very reluctantly back in LA, working on both Pucks! and The Opposite of Us.
Season 5[]
Several months have passed since the end of the last episode. Matt's show The Box is now a runaway hit. Unfortunately for Matt, this means he is now only thought of as a game show host.
