Overview

E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial is a 1982 American produced science fiction/family film starring Henry Thomas, Drew Barrymore, and Robert MacNaughton with Pat Welsh as the voice of titular alien, E.T. It was directed by Steven Spielberg.

A benevolent alien is stranded on Earth when his shipmates are forced to depart without him, he is discovered and befriended by a lonely young boy, Elliott who names him, "E.T.".
