Overview[]
Die Another Day is a 2002 British produced action-thriller espionage film starring Pierce Brosnan, Halle Berry, Toby Stephens, Rosamund Pike, and Rick Yune. It was directed by Lee Tamahori and is the twentieth film in the James Bond Franchise Series. The film was intended to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Eon Productions' 007 franchise and contains numerous hidden and not-so-hidden references to all of the previous films. It was also the fourth and final film starring Pierce Brosnan in titular role as James Bond.
Betrayed and captured by the North Koreans on a mission, James Bond is disavowed by MI-6 and abandoned. But despite enduring agonizing torture, 007 refuses to die and intends to find the person who set him up.
