Danny Trejo ( b. 16 May 1944 ) is an American actor, producer, and entrepreneur. He has appeared in numerous live action television and cinematic roles; and voice acting performances.

He is well known as a character actor having appeared in over 400 films and TV shows in both minor and major roles. Trejo has usually been cast as tough guy, anti-hero, or villainous roles thanks to his distinctive rugged, heavily lined, and scarred face, tattoos, and long hair. His likeness has been used in a number of video games as well.

Trejo is widely known for his roles in Desperado; Heat; and From Dusk Till Dawn. He is perhaps best known though for his character of Isador "Machete" Cortez from the Spy Kids Franchise.
