Trivia[]
- She is still single, but she tends to flirt with others, like she tends to flirt one of the securities that she tackled when they apprehend Max. And lastly, during the ending when she and the President look eye to eye at each other.
- Clyde takes an assignment she's not happy with because her job requires it. What have you done that you didn't want to do, but did anyway, because you knew it was right?
- It’s a tweak that worked, more so as it meant The Undercover Kid now boasted a welcome pair of strong females, with ass-kicking bodyguard, Agent Clydesdale (Melora Hardin), already part of its ensemble.
- Out of all the people (besides Buzzy), she is the only person who believes in Max:
- The first time is when Max recounted Dr. Hauptman's[12] strange questions to Bo, while translating his words, where she finds it interesting, despite pretending to believe what the boy said.
- The second time is when Mrs. Anderson sends Bo and Fellie to the Municipal Animal Control Center in frustration, where Max pleads with Clyde to believe in him, fearing the President's death. Clyde feels bad for Max and secretly helps him, so she took Bo and Fellie out of the control center, bringing them back to Max. Unfortunately, as she arrives at Max's window, she realizes Max was right, as he was kidnapped, Mrs. Anderson was drugged, and is disbelieved that she can understand Fellie when the cat says "Max!".
- For the third time is during the climax of the movie:
- Clyde initially fears Max's safety at the police station, but Max explains that the assassins will shoot the President at the train station. Despite Clyde's initial skepticism, she ultimately believes Max, as he knows the killer's appearance.
- As they entered the station, she had no option but to hit the gas and crash onto one of the station's entrances. When they arrive, Clyde notices several security cars approaching them, and she informs Max that he must not do anything because she will try to catch up with him. To bring Max and a dozen dogs (including Bo and Fellie) inside, she shows her badge and raises her hands in the air, nearly getting arrested in the process. Despite the risk to her job, she remains hopeful for Max.[13]
