Andy Barclay never knew what was in store for him when he asked for a Good Guy Doll, for his birthday. When he gets one, he soon learns that his new doll, Chucky is possessed by the soul of a cold-blooded serial killer. When Chucky begins to go on a killing spree, all evidence points to Andy as the prime suspect. Andy knows that Chucky is responsible, but cannot get anyone else to believe him.
