- She was credited for repairing her mother's friendship with Elizabeth Taylor. After 12 years of animosity, she took it upon herself to orchestrate the pair being on the same ocean cruise and making the two confront one another which led to the pair reconciling for the rest of their lives.
- Her career as a script doctor began because of her co-star, Harrison Ford as he was fond of ad-libbing his own lines during the filming of Star Wars. Frustrated at this, she began rewriting her own script.
