Cameron Diaz (b. 30 August 1972) is an American actress and former model. She has appeared in live action television and cinematic roles; and voice acting performances.
Diaz is best known for her breakout role as Tina Caryle opposite of lead actor Jim Carrey in The Mask.

- Was completely untrained as an actor before her breakout role in the 1994 The Mask. After she signed on to do the part, she immediately signed on for acting lessons.
- Was signed on to do the role of Sonya Blade in the 1995 Mortal Kombat film but while undergoing martial arts training in preparation for the role, she suffered a broken wrist causing her to be a last minute replacement by Bridgette Wilson-Sampras.
