Overview[]
In a future time of 2020; Empire City is under siege by a gang of enhanced high-tech criminals led by their mastermind, 'Big Boss'. To counter them arises a new agency, the Central Organization of Police Specialists or as everyone else calls them: C.O.P.S!
Equipped with a variety of futuristic gadgetry, high-tech cybernetics, and their own native skills; the C.O.P.S. are determined to bring justice back to Empire City. Because in this future time, you need to fight high-tech with high-tech.
C.O.P.S. was an American produced adventure animated cartoon TV series with Ken Ryan, Len Carlson, and Paul De La Rosa contributing as the primary voice actors. It was an adaptation of a short lived Hasbro toyline known as C.O.P.S. 'N Crooks and was created specifically to promote the toys as a syndicated cartoon series.
In reruns, this series is often retitled as CyberC.O.P.S. to avoid confusion with the more prominent and long running reality television show, Cops.
