Bruce Campbell ( b. 22 June 1958 ) is an American actor, director, producer, and writer. He has appeared in live action television and cinematic roles; and voice acting performances.

He is well known for appearing in numerous low budget cult films throughout his career and proudly proclaims himself as a B-Movie Actor. He has also had a long friendship and collaboration with director Sam Raimi since they were both teenagers.

Campbell is best known for his extended role as Ash Williams of the Evil Dead Franchise as well as smaller recurring supporting cast roles such as the King of Thieves Autolycus from the popular Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess television series; and as Sam Axe from the Burn Notice TV series.
