What if you could travel through time? What would you do? Change the present for the better? Right the wrongs of the past? Or maybe witness the wonders of the future yet to come?
Well, you could. But that would be a bit boring ... or you could travel with Doc Brown and his two sons, Jules and Verne along with their friend, Marty McFly as they bounce around from era to era and finding trouble whenever they go! After all, time isn't a terrible thing to waste ... as long as you got a time machine!
Back to the Future, usually referred to as Back to the Future: The Animated Series was a short-lived American produced family animated cartoon TV series with David Kaufman, Dan Castellaneta, Mary Steenburgen, and Josh Keaton contributing as the primary voice actors. In addition, Christopher Lloyd reprising his prior film role as Doc Brown with his assistant, Bill Nye appeared as live actors who performed real-world science experiments loosely based on the content of each episode at the end of each segment.
The series was considered to be a noncanon sequel to the popular Back to the Future film trilogy and franchise; continuing the hilarious misadventures of Marty McFly and Doc Brown. It was quickly cancelled but it did expose Bill Nye to mainstream audiences which culminated in his own TV series, Bill Nye, the Science Guy.
