While Rick runs into Clara in the forest, Daryl, Glenn, Tyreese, and Michonne visit the supermarket to get supplied. After a mishap caused by Bob, the group loses Zach in the process. Meanwhile, Patrick succumbs to the flu and dies, reanimating into a Walker.
Plot Summary
Rick checks the traps in the woods for food. He encounters a woman named Clara and accompanies her to her camp. When he reaches her camp, she attempts to murder him so she can feed her undead husband. When she fails to kill Rick, she uses her knife to take her own life. Daryl, Glenn, Tyreese and Michonne go on a run to the the supermarket with a survivor named Bob and Beth's boyfriend Zach. At the supermarket, Bob accidentally breaks a wine shelf and causes the roof to collapse, spilling a group of walkers into the store. The group escapes, but Zach is killed during the attack. At the prison, a boy named Patrick begins displaying signs that he is turning into a walker. At the end of the episode, he dies while taking a shower and changes into a walker.
