Plot Summary[]
In a bowling alley, a man named John Healy attacked and killed Prohaszka as part of a job. In the morning, Matt converses with Father Lantom. At the Nelson and Murdock firm's office, James Wesley offers the two young lawyers to work for his company, Confederated Global. He gives them a case which involves John Healy. Shortly after James leave, Matt follows the man out in the street. He didn't get to hear the rest of the conversation after James shuts the car door.
In a meeting with John Healy, Foggy asks him about the incident while John says it's self-defense. Before Foggy refuse to represent John Healy, Matt enters the room to work with him. Meanwhile, Urich finds out there is a new player in organized crime. Ellison does not approve of what Urich is working on. Urich states this is connected to Union Allied scandal. Ellison has Urich work on the subway article. He tells Urich that they scraping by and have to make money. In the meeting with John Healy, Healy wants to go to trial without going on Matt's advice. Back at the bowling alley, James picks up the gun that John had left hidden under the pinball machine. Back at the firm, Matt and Foggy work up a strategy. Elsewhere, Page meets with a lawyer whose agreement she refused to sign.
Ben Urich visits the hospital to see his wife and is concerned about his insurance's current situation. After Matt handles the court during John Healy's case, James converses with Leland about the case. James said they chose 2 lawyers instead of killing John Healy since a trail of dead bodies will lead to them. Plus, 2 lawyers with no experience is a safe route.
Elsewhere in Hell Kitchen, Karen finds Fisher's wife and talks with her about Union Allied. Fisher's Wife states that she had signed because she needs to support her children. Karen meets with Urich for help. Later that night, Matt as the masked man questions John on who hired him. John gives him a name, Wilson Fisk, and kills himself. At the art galley, Wilson talks with Vanessa about the portrait.
